My son absolutely loved this thing, it is the reason he went off to his crib without a word of protest. He'd lay there quietly just watching it. It does eat batteries faster than some of the other crib toys we have. Unfortunately it no longer moves or blows bubbles, it just lights up and plays music. My son got bored of it and my daughter isn't interested in it either. But when it worked, it was a big hit with my son until he was 20 months old (that's when it stopped working).

I bought this soother after reading the other reviews on here about it. My son, at four months, was a pretty good sleeper if he was tired but if he wasn't at that sooooooooo tired point he'd fight going to sleep. Well with this soother all I have to do is lay him down, turn it on, give him his blanket, and leave the room and he falls asleep with NO fussing at all. I really like that it has multiple selections for music and it runs a LONG time, which is great because then I don't have to constantly go back in and turn it on again. The remote is a nice thing to have in case I need to turn it on without him seeing me.
We have a crib with a square rail and rectangular slats (The Serenity crib by Baby's Dream) and while it's a bit tough to get it attached, it does work. The original Ocean Wonders soother I had didn't work because the slats weren't long enough but they made them longer with the recent model.
My only complaint is that it seems to run through batteries fairly fast (C batteries), however we use all three options (music, bubbles, and fish/weed movement).
If you're on the fence about buying it, I'd definitely recommend it! I think its going to grow well with a baby as they'll be able to activate it themselves.

Well Rested Mom
This was given to me as a gift. I began using it immediately with my newborn twins who were sharing a crib. They were mesmerized. I have since given away 3 as baby shower gifts. When my twins moved into separate cribs I set up the Rainforest soother in the other crib and they don't like it nearly as much - not as interesting, the button is smaller/much harder to reach/push at ~4-9 mos., it only plays for about 1/3 of the time as the Aquarium one, and the music is a little weird. I think it's the simplicity of this and the bubbles that they love. As an active duty soldier home alone with newborn twins while my husband was deployed, this soother was truly a blessing. At now 1 years old, they turn it on to soothe at night, turn it off when ready to go to sleep, and turn it on again in the morning to amuse themself while waiting for the other twin or me to wake up. Best gift anyone could have given me. Not sure why they discontinued this model for one with more stuff/buttons - it's like trying to improve a classic like wooden blocks. If you can find this model, get this one.

I bought this toy for my 4 month old. it took me a while to pick which crib toy like this to get and this one got me because of the remote control, which I LOVE! the controller works great and my daughter love the toy. the first time i used it i left her in the crib to watch it and i went in to get her out about 5 mins after doing dishes and she was asleep!!!! AMAZING because shes one of those babies that will only sleep in my arms. I am very happy i bought this item has helped me a lot to get chores done around the house without having a screaming kid mad because mommys busy. and the big fish really does move like real fish would. I love all the options, volume, different moods, different songs/noises. there something for every moment sleep or awake

I bought this item for my grand niece, and her mother said that Haillie was drawn to it right away. It fits on the inside of a crib, and has several colours, movements of 'fish', and tunes to listen to. My niece also said that this item was very soothing to her baby, and helped her to fall asleep at night and for her naps during the day.
