| Customer Reviews: Jumperoo June 13, 2010 S. Aldridge (Heath, Oh) We bought this for our baby when she was 4 months old, and she fell in love with it instantly. She would spend hours bouncing and playing in it, if we let her. She is now almost 7 months and still loves this toy. She touches and plays with all of the toys on this jumperoo. It has held up very well, considering she's an extreme bouncer and loves rocking back and forth in it.
It was fairly easy to put together, and very easy to adjust the height. I had to take the seat pad off to clean and it was very easy off and very easy on. I threw it right in the washing machine and it came out like new.
Baby and I love this product and would recommend it to everyone for every baby.
My baby loves this! January 31, 2010 M. McVey 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We had originally intended to purchase the EvenFlo Exersaucer for our baby, but decided to let her test some floor models before we bought anything. We hadn't considered buying the Jumperoo, mostly because we didn't know that much about them. To our surprise, when we put her in this one, she lit up and loved it immediately. She liked the Exersaucer, but she loved this Jumperoo. This model is nice because it has several toys that she can interact with and that make noises and light up. I also like the bar that this jumper has because we can hook on some of our baby's favorite toys and change things up for her. In comparison to several of the other brands of Jumpers, this one has more, and better toys, and the bar that she can actually reach to play with the toys (with some of the other brands, I think she'd have to be two feet tall to actually reach any toys hanging from the bar). Also, it only requires three AA batteries, which is a huge bonus compared to the 9-12 AAA required by the EvenFlo Exersaucer.
Assembly was very easy. I had it assembled, cleaned up, and my baby playing in it, all within 20 minutes. I should note, the adjustable height straps in our unit were also twisted. This seemed to be because of the way the whole thing had to be contorted to fit in the box. Fixing the twist was as simple as releasing the seat height adjustment strap from the strap bar, untwisting the strap, then snapping the bar back in place. There seemed to be no shoddy construction to blame for this problem, and I looked carefully after reading the other review.
So far, I've been very pleased with this purchase. My baby continues to love it, and I love that it's a jumper and an activity center all in one, hooray for less stuff!
Some issues, poor service, good toy January 20, 2010 Christal Anne Bardfield (All over, Army USA) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I went down and bought this from our local Target. When I set it up I noticed that there were two issues. The first was that one of the adjusting tabs (for height) was twisted....and the toy bar above was as well. We called Fisher Price who told us that it was TOO NEW of a product and they couldn't help us fix it. The woman said that all she could do was look at the online version of the manual we were looking at!!!! So we took a screwdriver to the top and dissasembled the whole side. We figured out the adjusting tab had been assembled wrong and fixed that. Closer examination showed that the toy bar, which was suppose to come UNassembled, had been assembled (wrong). When we looked we saw that someone had zip-tied the bar in. This seemed wierd, since right in the manual it said to snap in the bar. So we cut the zip-ties to correct the twist and then tried to put it back in.
The reason it had been zip-tied was obviously because Fisher Price realized that the toy bar could easily be pulled out (causing the potential for injury) so rather than fixign the bracket they just jimmy-rigged it. We were pretty dissapointed with this shoddy fix, especially since it seemed to be the zip-ties that made the bar sit wrong. When we contacted Fisher Price about this they told us they they are on back order so if there were to do anything for us it would take 4-6 weeks!!!! This thing was a pain to assemble and after all the work to fix it I dont' want to take it apart and pack it back to the store since the next one is likely to have the same issues. Overall the toy is good and my daughter seems to enjoy it, but I will sure be keeping a close eye on it to make sure they didn't cut any other corners!!!
