5 out of 5 stars This is the Greatest Swing in the History of Baby Swings!   July 28, 2010
B. Sterling (Kalamazoo, MI usa)
I LOVE this swing..and so does my baby. Absolutely the BEST purchase for a new baby. The cradle action..and FULL recline are excellent for newborns. The shape provides such a nice "nesting" feel for the baby as well. The netting create a beautiful effect and also provide the additional illusion of protection for the baby. She feel surrounded..which also aids to that "nesting" feel. The straps provide the real protection! The toy bar is okay, but we hardly ever use it..too much extra work to get baby in and out. But I'm glad it comes completely off rather than staying on a hinge! LOVe that this sucker PLUGS IN..so you aren't burning through batteries. This is my 3rd baby in 11 years..plus I've ran a daycare for the majority of those years and I have burned through many swings and tons of batteries. This is my first electric! The lightes dome at the top mesmerized my baby during those first three months..when babies are constantly drawn to light and shadows. Now she's reaching for the flowers that spin around above her! Just be ware..this swing..like all others DOES burn out and WON'T function as well once your baby begins to pack on some pounds. My girl is turning 9 months and almost 20 pounds and this swing is just about ready to give up on her altogether! lol But it still makes a good seat. It's secure, has toys, music and light..think of it as a bigger, better, not-so-bouncy seat...at this point anyway! lol I will probably pack it away soon and save what life is left for the next newborn...crossing my fingers for one more baby..and this sucker is pink...so shooting for another girl! :) If not, we will just have to teach our new baby boy to be secure with his feminine side..and dress him in a whole lot of blue to make up for it! lol Seriously, tho I cherish this swing. There really isn't anything else that our baby has gotten more use out of. It's just perfection. A MUST HAVE! Don't try to save money by getting one without the lighted dome or the netting. Those little details will be well worth the extra couple of dollars...REALLY! I have a neighbor that has one without the net and it LOOKS scarier..not to say that it really is any scarier..but it LOOKs as though the baby could just fall out at any time. I think that netting probably adds the same effect to the baby, too..an extra sense of security. I think they feel cozier with the canopy.

5 out of 5 stars Perfect for Your Newborn   December 28, 2009

We were looking for a swing for our new baby girl and chose this one. It was perfect. We were able to use it as soon as we brought her home from the hospital. We kept it in the living room and she has swung and napped many hours in it. She is now 7 months old and she still likes the swing, watches the butterfly mobile, and loves the lights and music. I would recommend this swing to anyone with a new baby girl.

This certainly is the best product to get your child to sleep, mine loves it, however shortly after beginning to use it , the rotating butterflies & star light dome really begins to squeak..The entire swinging cradle also creaks a little.... i'd love to find a better version that is completely quiet , for my sake, my child doesn't seem to mind the noise....

5 out of 5 stars Baby loves it!   September 8, 2009

We love this swing! It took my baby about 5 weeks before she really started to appreciate this swing, but now she LOVES it. She is mesmerized by the light show, and soothed by the rocking. Its a very classy design, not gaudy like a lot of swings i've seen. It was easy to put together, took about 30 minutes.

4 out of 5 stars Beautiful floating butterflys....   June 25, 2009

I love this swing! The floating butterflys keeps my baby girl in awe. The ability to switch the seat in 3 different positions and it leans way back. My only compliants: the swinging knock can interupt your child if he/she is cranky. The music seems not to flow right, just about when my baby is about to fall asleep the few relaxing songs end and then something upbeat comes along and she wakes up, so I just keep it on the nature sound which is very plesant to listen to. I've had this for about a week now-the buttons already seem to have a few weak spots-sometimes the light doesnt want to quite turn on right away, the music wont start.
Other than my little issues its a beautiful swing!
